Move your hips on the Tahitian drums! tahitian dance class tahiti
First things first: breakfast ! Follow your guide around the Tahitian Food Market and dive into a small world of colours, smells, and learn about our History and traditions. Admire and taste our local specialities and have a bite by the market, where locals gather. This might also be a good time to have a look at some taditional pieces of arts and crafts, which you can take home.
Then, immerse yoursel in the Tahitian culture at one of the most prestigious dance school of Tahiti, Tamariki Poerani. Lead by the brillant Makau Foster, this school participated in turning the Polynesian dance, Ori Tahiti, into a fascinating art. For 2 hours, let the dancers guide you into the depth of our traditions.
You want to discover our culture and understand better the traditions of Polynesians ? Joins us for an immersive experience and become part of our History.
*Please note that 18 years-old children and over only can join the experience.

By choosing this expedition, you will further help our country develop an organic, local and natural agriculture.
We believe that educating younger generations to a more sustainable way of life is the key. This is why we partnered with SPG Bio Fetia, so we can build, together, an organic garden for the NGO SOS Children's Village *. Being experts in organic agriculture, SPG Bio Fetia appeared like the best partner to help on this project. We do hope that this garden will bring hope to the kids of SOS Children's Village, participating in giving them the chance to grow up in a healthy environment.
When booking this tour, 3% of our benefits will directly be donated to this project.
* SOS Children's Village is the largest non-governmental organisation focused on supporting children without parental care and families at risk.
